Campaigner Consultant Writer

Hi, I’m Jo (she/they)
I’m a campaigner, strategist, and writer working at the intersection of language, justice, and power. I help values-led organisations build bold campaigns, voices, and brands rooted in clarity, care, and community. My creative work explores love, loss, and the emotional roots of resistance — and I’m currently writing my debut book.

Writing and poetry

I’m an award-winning poet and writer focused on human emotion - especially grief, love, resistance, and what it means to be changed by feeling. I’m currently working on my debut book, exploring grief as a visceral, expansive force.I also take bespoke poetry commissions: for a special occasion, a specific topic, or just because you need a piece that speaks the unspeakable.🎟️ Get in touch below to request a custom poem

ABOUT

Changing systems, shifting narratives, and building movements for lasting justiceI’m a human rights campaigner, researcher, and consultant with over a decade of experience leading transformative work across grassroots movements, charities, and international NGOs. I focus on strategy, storytelling, and systems change - always grounded in anti-racism, intersectionality, and community-led approaches.Alongside this, I write. Poetry, fiction, blogs, research pieces, and essays - often circling around love, grief, and the shape of feeling. Writing has always been a way for me to stay close to what’s tender and true, and to make sense of what cannot be explained through strategy and spreadsheets.I'm a queer immigrant and long-time movement builder, who now lives in London. I bring a personal, political, and emotionally honest lens to all I do. These days, you’ll find me walking with my scruffy little dog Pickles, cooking for friends, and dreaming up new ways to live and work with integrity and heart.
